It premiered on 13 August 1939 at the Venice Film Festival

In 14 sold-out concerts , he presented for the first time in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland with 40 musicians and the Botho Lucas Chor . As a soloist trumpeter Ack van Rooyen , trombonist Jiggs Whigham and the Swedish jazz singer Sylvia Vrethammar were there.

A mediados de los 70 Calzado Canadá sacó un modelo llamado "Exorcist Shoes" muy curiosos pero muy cómodos que entre otras cosas tenían más bajo el talón que la punta. El caso es que la publicidad de estos zapatos usó esta melodía de fondo.
